Card for Altenew Challenge

Hello

Today I made a card for Altenew Inspiration Challenge.

It is a simple one layered card. Though this is a layered stamp set I used only the outline stamp and I water colored the stamped image with Distress inks and heat embossed the sentiment.

I'm inspired by the layout of the card here at Altenew October Inspiration Challenge

Supplies Used:

Altenew Bold Blossom Stamp set
Altenew Halftone hello Stamp set
Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral, Crushed Olive and Evergreen bough
Watercolor Paper
Papericious Sequins
Double sided Foam tape

Hope you like my Card.
Hugs,
Priya

Our sponsor for the challenge is IKESART and I'm using the beautiful Thanksgiving-Cornucopia  image here on my card.

And here's my card...
It measures 5"*5.5". I tried to give a 3D look here so after coloring the image with my FaberCastle color pencils and crayons, I cut it and adhered it to a yellow Pattern paper, which is again stuck to a brown cardstock. I used a beautiful striped orange paper for the side panel and stuck that to the brown cardstock as well. The base is an embossed orange handmade paper. I added a lace and few rhinestones to finish the look.

Do not forget to enter our challenge here ...

Supplies Used:

White Cardstock
Brown Cardstock
Orange Handmade Paper
Pattern Paper from Enogreetings
Papericious Lace
Faber Castle color Pencils
Faber Castle Wax Crayons
Rhinestones
Foam Tape
Tacky Glue

Diwali Lamp for Rainbow Craftykari Blog

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I'm at Rainbow Craftykari Blog with my DT inspiration post. This month we are celebrating the festival of lights in this part of the world. We decorate our homes with lights and eat and share sweets and gifts with neighbours, friends and relatives.
I made a Diwali Lamp this time, which will be the centerpiece for my Diwali Party.

The materials I used for making this...
I have listed down the products at the end of the post.

For this, I upcycled an empty silver foil tube, some thermocol sheets that came with packaging. First I drew the outline of the lamp on a piece of paper and traced the same on the patterned paper. Then I cut out the unnecessary parts and attached vellum on the window panels. Then I assembled the lamp.

After the upper part is done, I used a thermocol sheet to make the base of the lamp, so that it can stand properly. I cut it in hexagon shape and attached cardstock on both sides to give it more strength. Then I attached the empty aluminium foil roll into it and covered the whole part with patterned paper. Then for attaching the lamp also I cut a small thermocol sheet and covered it with patterned paper and attached it to the tissue roll. Once the base is dried completely and looked firm, I attached the lamp on it.

Here, You can keep it unattached and adhere a tea light on it also. I'm planning to do that in future.

Then I attached  laces on the borders to make it look more attractive, also attached some flowers which are from the store. Some leaf die cuts here and there and my lamp is ready.

Some more images

Happiness- Card for Scrapping4Fun Challenge Blog

Hello Friends,

Today I'm sharing my DT project for Challenge #101 at Scrapping4fun challenges .

This month the theme is Autumn and I love autumn, it's colors and the beautiful leaves. I'm sure a lot of you must love this season too. I made a card using this beautiful Digi Image from  Cute As A BUtton Stamps And Designs who is also the sponsor for this challenge.

Here's my card. I used autumn colored pattern papers to make some layers under the image. Colored the image with my faber castle color pencils and I loved it. Hope you like it too. I know I'm not good at card making, but it is something I really want to learn and do better. I hand cut some leaves from the same image, colored them and used out side the image. To give them a bit height I used double sided foam tape under the image as well as the leaves.

I used a twine and some pearl stickers and a small tag which I really love.

Hope you like my card. Do participate in the challenge for more fun.

Supplies Used:

Celebration/Festival -DT Post for IQCG

Hello Quillers,

A very good morning...
Today I'm sharing my DT project for Indian Quilling Challenge Blog for the month of October. The theme this month is Celebration/Festival. We are celebrating Diwali-The festival of Lights this month in India. So I have created a Quilling God Ganesha whom we worship and a Tea light holder.

I have been dreaming of making a Quilled Ganesha since long and I'm happy that finally I could do this. This is my first try in making the Elephant God and I know there are a lot of mistakes but I really love the outcome. I used 5 mm strips for making the God and 3 mm strips for the tea-light holder.

Take a look...

Hope You like my work. Do play the challenge here

Priya
